In the Bihar Board Inter Result 2024, Tushar Kumar of Patna topped in Arts with 96.40 percent marks, in Science Mrityunjay Kumar of Siwan topped with 96.20 percent marks, and in Commerce Priya Kumari of Sheikhpura topped with 95.60 percent marks.
The Bihar School Examination Committee Chairman Anand Kishore released the result at 1.30 pm in the main auditorium of the board in Patna. The Bihar Board 12th Annual Examinations were conducted between 1 February 2024 to 12 February 2024. This year, about 13 lakh students appeared in the 12th board examination.

This time a total of 524828 candidates have been successful in the first division in all three Inter streams. Most of the candidates in the Science Faculty have passed in the first division. Among the total candidates of the three faculties, 504837 candidates have been successful in the second division and 96593 candidates have been successful in the third division.
A total of 12 lakh 91 thousand 684 candidates had appeared in the intermediate examination, out of which 11 lakh 26 thousand 258 had passed while 165426 candidates had failed. 617334 candidates had appeared in the Faculty of Science. Out of which 325848 candidates have passed in the first division.
In the second category, 209705 candidates have been successful. Whereas, in the Faculty of Arts, 173823 has secured first division. Whereas 284454 passed the examination in the second division and 88344 passed the examination in the third division. The least number of candidates appeared in the Commerce Faculty. Out of a total of 39658 candidates, 25157 passed in the first division.

Bihar School Examination Board has made a major change for the upcoming examinations. This time compartmental and special examinations will be conducted separately. Application for both compartmental and special examinations will start simultaneously from March 28, 2024.
The Bihar Board Chairman said that earlier compartmental and special examinations were conducted together. But this time, in a change, the compartmental examination will be conducted separately. He told that those students who were registered for the special examination, but due to some reason could not appear in the examination. Also, due to reaching the examination center late, he could not appear in the examination.
BSEB Result 2024 12th Class
A total of 12 lakh 91 thousand 684 candidates appeared for the Bihar Board Inter examination. Out of these, 11 lakh 26 thousand 439 were successful. Among the passed candidates, 5 lakh 52 thousand 738 are girls and 5 lakh 73 thousand 656 are boys. The result was released by Bihar Board Chairman Anand Kishore. He said that the Bihar Board has created history by releasing the Inter result first in the country.
This time there are 24 students in the top five including all three streams of Science, Arts, and Commerce. There are 13 girls and 11 boys among them. Mrityunjay Kumar of GM High School cum Inter College, Badharia, Siwan has got the first position in Inter Science in the state.
Simran Gupta of Shri Yamuna Chari High School cum Inter College, Daryapur Saran, Varun Kumar of High School Singhwahini, Sitamarhi got second place and Prince Kumar of High School Barauli, Gopalganj got third place. Tushar Kumar, a student of the College of Commerce Arts and Science, Patna stood first in Inter Arts. Nishi Sinha of the same college got the second position.
In Inter Commerce, the first position went to Priya Kumari, a student of Mahatma Gandhi Adarsh Vidyalaya, Badbigaha, Sheikhpura, and Saurav Kumar of College of Commerce, Patna got the second position. Gulshan Kumar of GD Patliputra Vidyalaya and Kunal Kumar of KLS College, Nawada stood third.
